Denmark GO - Crop (uncertified, subsidised) - 2025

This assessment represents the price of the transfer of crop-based biomethane Guarantees of Origin (GOs) produced in Denmark in euros per megawatt hour. These GOs reflect subsidised production for 2025 and are issued by transmission system operator, Energinet. The assessment reflects GOs that are not certified under a RED-compliant scheme and with a carbon intensity of at least 25 gCO2e/MJ. Bids, offers and deals must represent trade for a minimum of one GWh. Uncertified GOs have not had their feedstocks, origin, production process and carbon intensity verified by a national or EU-recognised certification scheme and are usually cheaper than certified GOs. Subsidised GOs have received state support for their production and so are typically cheaper than unsubsidised GOs, but may face limitations in cross-border trade and in their use to meet national transport renewable energy and emission reduction compliance targets.
