Denmark GO - Manure (certified, subsidised) - 2026

This assessment represents the price of the transfer of waste-based biomethane Guarantees of Origin (GOs) produced in Denmark in euros per megawatt hour. These GOs reflect subsidised production for 2026 and are issued by transmission system operator, Energinet. The assessment reflects GOs that are certified under a RED-compliant scheme and with a carbon intensity of between 0 gCO2e/MJ and 25 gCO2e/MJ. Bids, offers and deals must represent a minimum of one GWh. Certified GOs have had their feedstocks, origin, production process and carbon intensity verified by a national or EU-recognised certification scheme and can often command a premium value versus uncertified GOs. Subsidised GOs have received state support for their production and so are typically cheaper than unsubsidised GOs, but may face limitations in cross-border trade and in their use to meet national transport renewable energy and emission reduction compliance targets.
