Denmark GO - Manure (certified, unsubsidised) - 2026

This assessment represents the price of the transfer of manure-based biomethane Guarantees of Origin (GOs) produced in Denmark in euros per megawatt hour. These GOs reflect unsubsidised production for 2026 and are issued by transmission system operator, Energinet. The assessment reflects GOs that are certified under a RED-compliant scheme and with a maximum carbon intensity of -85 gCO2e/MJ. Bids, offers and deals must represent trade for a minimum of one GWh. Certified GOs have had their feedstocks, origin, production process and carbon intensity verified by a national or EU-recognised certification scheme and can often command a premium value versus uncertified GOs. Unsubsidised GOs have not received state support for their production and so are typically costlier than subsidised GOs, but face less limitations in cross-border trade and can usually be used to meet national transport renewable energy and emission reduction compliance targets.
