This assessment represents the value of a vintage 2020 voluntary carbon credit produced by a landfill gas (LFG) project and registered either under ACR (formerly known as American Carbon Registry) or the Climate Action Reserve. The typical project collects methane gas from a municipal landfill site in the US and combusts it to produce energy. A typical deal size of 20,000 tonnes is reflected. Smaller deal sizes may be normalised downwards and bigger deals normalised upwards.
