This assessment represents the value of a vintage 2018 voluntary carbon credit produced by a landfill gas (LFG) project and registered under the Gold Standard (GS). The typical project collects methane gas from a municipal landfill site in Turkey and combusts it to produce energy. A typical deal size of 10,000 tonnes is reflected. Smaller deal sizes may be normalised downwards and bigger deals normalised upwards.
