VCS Blue carbon 2022 20kt

This assessment represents the value of one Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) credit created from mangrove and blue carbon projects, where emission reductions and/or removals took place in 2022. A typical scheme protects mangrove ecosystems from further destruction and seeks to restore tidal wetlands. All blue carbon projects covered by the VM0033 methodology are considered as part of this assessment, although values are normalised back to the Delta Blue Carbon (DBC) project in Pakistan (VCS2250).
