VCS Clean cookstoves (India) 2016+ 20kt

This assessment represents the value of a voluntary carbon credit produced by clean cookstove projects in India and registered under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS), where emission reductions took place from 2016 onwards. A typical deal size of 20,000 tonnes is reflected. Smaller deal sizes may be normalised downwards and bigger deals normalised upwards. All cookstove types (charcoal, biomass, LPG, water purifiers) are considered with the cheapest technology setting the price. Indicative Project ID VCS3769
