VCS Indonesia Peatlands APD 66%ARR 2020

This assessment represents the value of a vintage 2020 voluntary carbon credit produced by an avoided peatland conversion project situated in Indonesia and registered under the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS). The index represents combined avoided planned deforestation (APD) and afforestation, reforestation and restoration (ARR) projects that use VCS methodology VM0007 and also meet the Climate, Community & Biodiversity (CCB) standard. A weight of 66% ARR and 34% APD is assumed. A typical deal size of 20,000 tonnes is reflected. Smaller deal sizes may be normalised downwards and bigger deals normalised upwards.
