EIA DATA: US shale oil production rising 42,000 bpd in August

Quantum Commodity Intelligence - US shale oil production will rise 42,000 bpd in August from July after a ramp up in Permian basin volumes, forecasts the US Energy Information Administration (EIA).

Volumes will increase to 7.907 million bpd next month, up from 7.685 million bpd this month, the drilling report for July shows.

Permian basin production will rise 53,000 bpd in August month-on-month to 4.7 million bpd.

But there are small losses in other smaller producing basins such as Anadarko, Bakken, Eagle Ford and Niobrara.

In July, US shale output increased 38,000 bpd from May.

Meanwhile, US natural gas production will rise 46 million cubic feet per day in August from July to 85,460 million cubic feet per day, according to the EIA.
